Digital Licenses, Technological Implementations, & Newsletters!

Hello, and welcome back to my blog! <3      To begin this week's blog, I wanted to start with talking about copyright and fair use laws. Living in a digital-centered generation right now, understanding these laws are incredibly important. When a person creates a work of art through any medium, it is highly recommended to get a copyright on that art; copyright is essentially a collection of rights someone owns so that they can benefit from public use of their art. This license allows an artist to get credit for their work, without fearing that their work may get stolen, although the license is just for a limited time. Along with this, fair use laws are used to allow other people to use original works, as long as they have intended purposes, without needing specific permission from the creator of the content; people often take advantage of this law within news-reporting, YouTube videos, and through teaching with worksheets, drawings, etc. As a teacher, I would make...

My Experience with MS Word + What is the ISTE?

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! <3      For my second blog post, I will first start with telling you about my experiences with Microsoft Word. Honestly, I do not really use it all that much, but the times I have used it, I have never had a problem with it. First Blog Post !! :-)

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog! As my first post, let me introduce myself so you can get to know me. :) To start off, let's get to know me on a personal level. My name is Angie and I am currently towards the end of my second year here at Florida State. When I started university, my major was Biological Sciences with a minor in Education, but within the past year, I changed my mind into wanting to solely major in Elementary Education. My entire life I have always dreamed of becoming a teacher and so I have always been on the fence about wanting to be a science teacher or just an elementary teacher. Moving past education info into more personal info about me, my entire family is Puerto Rican and while the majority of my family is from the island, I am not; I have lived in Florida my entire life, born and raised in Tampa, to be specific. I am nineteen years old and my astrology sign is Cancer. I am also a very creative person; I love to paint and sketch drawings in my free time ...
